Alison Cooper

About Me

Bringing a diverse and well-rounded background to GentlePsych, Alison Cooper serves as a Patient Care Coordinator with a strong foundation in sales, customer service, executive assistance, business operations, and education. With experience across industries such as IT sales, insurance and financial services, property management, and early childhood education, Alison excels in communication, problem-solving, and operational organization.


In her role, Alison is the first point of contact for many patients and families. She manages scheduling for both in-person and telepsychiatry services, organizes records, and ensures all communications are handled with attention to detail and care. Her approach helps create a seamless, supportive experience that allows patients to focus on their healing journey.


Alison was drawn to GentlePsych because of its heartfelt mission to reduce stigma around mental health and provide compassionate care to every individual. As a longtime mental health advocate, she finds fulfillment in making patients feel heard, valued, and supported from their very first interaction. Her warm presence and thoughtful communication help establish a strong foundation of trust and comfort.


Outside of work, Alison enjoys spending time with her husband, their 7-year-old daughter, and their two cats. She finds joy in being outdoors, traveling, and staying active. Her personal philosophy is rooted in optimism and kindness, shaped by her family and life experiences. Guided by Winston Churchill’s words, “Attitude is a little thing that makes a BIG difference,” Alison strives to bring empathy and positivity to every interaction.
