Meet Lauren

Lauren Brown, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

I am originally from Alabama which is where my love of connection and belonging came from. I have always lived by the values of kindness, working together, and dreaming big.

I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who earned a Masters of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University, the #1 ranked PMHNP program in the country. I have worked in Behavioral Health since 2015 in various settings including Psychiatric Inpatient, Outpatient, Partial Hospitalization, and Intensive Outpatient with kids and adults.

I specialize in pediatric and adolescent psychiatry and treat patients 7 years old and up. I received additional training and experience for pediatric and adolescent psychiatry at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio prior to opening my private practice. While I have passion for children, I truly enjoy working with adults as well.

Variety is the spice of life!

I have special interests in treatment of ADHD, Adult ADHD, Trauma, Mood and Anxiety disorders, as well as educating patients on neuroscience in an easy to understand way.

My approach to psychiatry and mental health is to work with patients from a place of understanding, warmth, and knowledge to help you heal and grow.
